Handle With Care (2006) is my 2nd album. At the time when I'd recorded this, I'd been living in NYC for a few years and had started to feel the influence of the music going on around me. A lot of it was melancholy in sound and in theme... and a lot of it still is. Though the songs on this record show evidence of a "singer-songwriter" in the making, it still maintains the sweet naivety that was evident on Brave Heartache. I traveled back to Portland, OR to make this record and had the opportunity to collaborate with some great musician-friends of mine. I'd say these are better "songs" than the songs on BH... but in hindsight I think the sound of this record might have been too diverse. Some disagree...
