The Crescent Street Hustlers are on a mission to revive and modernize the Montreal disco scene, celebrating the great dance music that thrived in that Canadian city primarily in the late 1970s, at the height of the global disco explosion. Partnering with the newly revived iconic Miami based Afrowax label, Crescent City Hustlers have been hard at work, reimagining some of their favorite hits from that golden era. One of their heroes from that scene was the Montréal based songwriter, record company executive and producer Tony Green, who churned out hits under many different aliases. One of his biggest successes was the classic 1976 single "Sunshine Love," under the alias Metal Weeds. The Hustlers modern version of the iconic track is a treat for the ears, featuring 3 adventurous mixes including a standard radio mix, a long version, plus a bonus stripped-down element mix for this exclusive release.
